Here are two super ingredients from Mother Nature: Moroccan Argan oil and Banana. These two treasures from Mother Nature are extremely beneficial to the hair. So what makes these two great for the hair?
Banana is a very rich source of Vitamin A and Potassium. These two nutrients work in softening and hydrating the hair as well as the skin. The Moroccan oil on the other hand protects the hair’s natural elasticity. The oil can infiltrate deep into the very pores of the hair shafts thereby nourishing your hair and preventing breakage. High levels of vitamin E and other antioxidants are present in the oil. Vitamin E strengthens and repairs damaged cellular membrane of the hair and along with the other antioxidants found in the oil, protect the hair from the damaging effects of internal and external factors.

Not only will you save more money in making your own hair mask, you’ll be sure that the mask does not contain any harmful chemicals. Here’s a recipe for a hydrating hair mask using the oil from Morocco and bananas!
All Natural Hydrating Hair Mask
You’ll need the following:
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 2 tablespoons of milk
- 5 tablespoons of Moroccan Argan oil
Making the Hair Mask
First you’ll need to mash the banana in a bowl and then add the egg, honey and milk. Mix them well together and transfer the mixture to a blender. Set on pulse and slowly add the oil a tablespoon at a time. Once you arrive at a smooth consistency with no chunks then your hair mask is done. Quite simple, isn’t it?
Applying the Hair Mask
Using a wide-toothed comb, apply the mask onto your hair. See to it that the mask covers your hair from root to tip. Once done, allow your hair to soak all the goodness of the mask for about 30 minutes. If you haven’t got that much time, just wrap your head with a warm towel and leave it for about 10 minutes. Rinse with cold water. It is best to note that the more damaged your hair is, the longer must you let it soak in the mask’s goodness!
