  1. Get enough sleep – When you snooze at night your body is repairing damaged cells, tissues and muscles. Not only is enough sleep essential for the skin, it is essential for your body and your mind. Rejuvenating and replenishing happens when you sleep at night and sleep should be at least for 8 hours. Make sure that your room is well ventilated and cool air blankets the entire room. The body also sleeps better when the room is dark.
  2. Wash your face everyday – Washing the face everyday removes dirt, dust, grime and excess oil on your face. All of these things when left on the face would clog the pores and then result to skin breakouts. Washing the face after waking up in the morning and before going to bed is essential in keeping the skin beautiful and healthy. Cleaning the face everyday is equally important as not overdoing it. If you wash the face more than twice a day then you are actually drying out your skin by robbing its essential oils. Another side effect of too much washing is the skin producing more oil as a counter measure. Use lukewarm water on your first wash. This would open the pores after which you should then apply your cleanser on your face. Massage your face with your fingers or a soft cloth. This is to loosen dirt and dead skin cells. This is a mild form of exfoliating. Rinse your face with cold water. Cold water closes the pores.
  3. Moisturise the skin – There are so many moisturisers out in the market. Picking out which is the best skin moisturiser for you can be confusing. You should see to it that you get the moisturiser that is specially formulated for your skin type. One of the best moisturisers to use is Argan oil. Argan oil does not contain harmful chemicals that would irritate the skin. This oil is extracted from the fruits of Argan tree.
