The love for natural beauty products is getting stronger and this is excellent news. This means that more and more consumers are now aware of the dangerous chemicals added in most commercially-sold beauty and personal care products. Haircare products are no exception. There are tons of shampoos and conditioners with toxic chemicals in them including suspected or potentially carcinogenic or cancer-causing substances.
Are There Safe and Natural Hair Care Products?
There are some companies now that have come out with shampoos and conditioners that are made with natural ingredients and free from toxic chemicals. Although, one has to be careful in buying products having “all-natural” and “organic” labels as some companies just put these labels in these products even when their products contain dangerous chemicals. The best thing to do is to look at the list of ingredients of a product. If a product lists down Parabens, Phthalates, DEA, MEA, TEA, Formaldehyde, and Fragrance in its ingredients, leave that product on the shelf as these ingredients are harmful to one’s health and the health of the environment.
