Numerous health websites are recommending applying oils packed with Vitamin E to relieve sunburn pain. Vitamin E is a potent skin moisturizer. Ice can worsen a sunburn by causing an ice burn which means added damage to your already burnt skin.

Honey as a Remedy for Sunburn

Honey is a great sunburn treatment. It is a very powerful moisturizer and it also has antibacterial properties. Many studies have also shown that honey can help heal wounds. Honey helps the skin in growing new epithelial skin cells therefore helping in healing sunburns.

If you’re still wearing sunburns from the summer season, try out any of these natural sunburn remedies. To avoid having burnt skin, make sure that you apply sunscreen every day and reapply after sweating or after being under the sun for 2 hours. You should also avoid baking under the sun.
