How to Pamper Your Feet
- Give Your Feet a Rest
The simplest way to pamper your feet is to give them a rest. Sit down on a comfortable chair, remove your shoes and elevate your feet. Keeping them elevated will relieve aching as well as swelling.
- Soak Your Feet
Once your feet are well rested, time for some more serious pampering. Get a basin large enough to fit your two feet (or a foot tub if you have one) and fill it up with warm water. The water level should be enough to cover all of your feet. Add in a few drops of Argan oil into the water. Argan oil is packed with anti-inflammatory properties therefore helping soothe tired and aching muscles as well as joints. The oil also comes with nutrients having immense moisturizing properties such as Vitamin E, essential fatty acids and Sterols. They will help heal cracked heels and soften hardened soles. They will also keep the nails and your cuticles moisturized. Other essential oils great to use on your foot soak are peppermint, eucalyptus as well as lemon. If your feet is prone to having odor or fungal infection, it may be ideal to use tea tree oil since it comes with anti-fungal and antiseptic properties. Soak your feet for about 15 minutes or 20 minutes.

To get rid of calluses on your feet, use a pumice stone and gently rub it against the sole of your feet while your feet is still damp.
- Clip Your Toenails
After soaking is the best time for you to trim your toenails. Trim straight across. Massage a few drops of the Argan oil on the nail bed and cuticles. The oil will keep the cuticles moisturized and help strengthen the nails.
- Keep Your Feet Moisturized
The thickest skin is found on the feet. So make sure that you moisturize them. Once you have soaked and smoothen your feet, apply a generous amount of Argan oil or any moisturizing cream or lotion that you have on each foot.
