Where and how is argan oil produced?

Argan oil comes from the tree Argania Spinosa which is endemic to the calcareous semi-dessert lands of southwestern Morocco. It is believed that this tree where argan oil is derived from also prevents soil erosion in that area. How is argan oil produced from the tree? Argan fruits mature by June and they are picked and dried. After which, The dried portion is removed with a use of a machine. What are left are nuts that are manually crushed with the use of two stones by the women of Morocco. Crushing brings forth almonds that are either roasted (for culinary argan oil) or directly pressed (for cosmetic argan oil). Both culinary and cosmetic argan oils are made from the kernels of the argan tree and without any additives. Both are 100% all natural and are then poured in a bottle after being filtered.

Using argan oil for hair, nails, body, and face!


For 100% pure argan oil, you only need a few drops to nourish your face. Either use the oil at night before going to bed or in the morning as a base for your make up. Either way put a few drops on your fingertips and apply to your face including the eye area. If you want better results, give time massaging the oil to your face which will allow the oil to seep better into the skin making effects better.


Use argan oil for your whole body just as you would use regular lotion. Apply after a bath or before going to sleep. Make sure to take a few moments and let the oil seep through first before getting dressed or before getting into bed.
