Sebum in its normal quantity helps protect the skin from drying out and helps flush out dead skin cells. But sebum is also nourishment to the acne-causing bacterium that naturally resides on the skin. More sebum means the bacterium multiplies clogging the pores therefore resulting to acne.

Fight Acne with Vegetables, Fruits and Omega-rich Fish

Lay off high-glycemic food and drinks if you want your acne to clear up. And include leafy greens and fibers in your diet instead. You should also not forget including fish that are rich in essential fatty acids or Omega acids.
